Anxel Olmos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roldán Caminero having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmau Sevilla in the 21st minute of play forced Olímpico de Jaén's goalkeeper Roldán Caminero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, AcademiaVCF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gallo Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmau Sevilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmau Sevilla in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roldán Caminero saved Olímpico de Jaén from getting behind. Dalmau Sevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roldán Caminero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Olímpico de Jaén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Anxel Olmos took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roldán Caminero. Anxel Olmos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldán Caminero having to interfere. Leandro Camaño's late challenge caught a AcademiaVCF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 80thth minute of the game Herauso Fuster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AcademiaVCF's Llope De Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AcademiaVCF's Gallo Naranjo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Anxel Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roldán Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
