Roldán Caminero was a little too slow when Zernin Aizpurua got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Herauso Fuster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olímpico de Jaén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herauso Fuster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquilino Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alhama Esprings AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gilen Cuevas hit a great ball. Olímpico de Jaén's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurre Santiago in the 46th minute. 49 minutes into the game, Zernin Aizpurua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roldán Caminero. Zernin Aizpurua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herauso Fuster to strike the kick off in the second half. Roldán Caminero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zernin Aizpurua, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Onofre Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Olímpico de Jaén's zone, Zernin Aizpurua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Alhama Esprings AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Herauso Fuster kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cisco Iglesias. That made the score 3-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 72nd minute Zernin Aizpurua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roldán Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garikoitz Lopez hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Esteban during the 77th minute. Alhama Esprings AFC's Cisco Iglesias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Alhama Esprings AFC from getting a goal against them. If Zernin Aizpurua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alhama Esprings AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olímpico de Jaén had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
