With his leg Barros Mudarra managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when CB Wombats Albacete's Foeke Kleiker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cutberto Ribeiro in the 13th minute of play forced CB Wombats Albacete's goalkeeper Cristobal Verges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foeke Kleiker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barros Mudarra having to interfere. Chus Lopez de Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Foeke Kleiker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barros Mudarra was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, CB Wombats Albacete's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Prats came free, but Cristobal Verges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Gregorio Aizpurua notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CB Wombats Albacete's Cristobal Verges. Cristobal Verges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristobal Verges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Aizpurua in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Teodoro De Pedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Chus Lopez de Toro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barros Mudarra skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Rodolfo Prats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Verges was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 45th minute, Foeke Kleiker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CB Wombats Albacete's Cristobal Verges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zumar Sampil in the 47th minute of play. Cristobal Verges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Aizpurua in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Gregorio Aizpurua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Verges. CB Wombats Albacete's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Aizpurua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cristobal Verges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Aizpurua, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Barros Mudarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foeke Kleiker's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of CB Wombats Albacete booed when El Grao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curro Tobias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chus Lopez de Toro didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. CB Wombats Albacete's Cristobal Verges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save CB Wombats Albacete from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Verges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Aizpurua in the 75th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Chus Lopez de Toro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CB Wombats Albacete and the El Grao AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CB Wombats Albacete's Chus Lopez de Toro got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Maule Buendia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Verges skillfully saved the ball. Foeke Kleiker struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Barros Mudarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CB Wombats Albacete. 86 minutes into the match, CB Wombats Albacete's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Aizpurua came free, but Cristobal Verges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes CB Wombats Albacete got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Quintanilla. El Grao AFC's Barros Mudarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foeke Kleiker in the 90th minute of play. When Raymundo Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the CB Wombats Albacete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Garrido couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, CB Wombats Albacete's goalkeeper Cristobal Verges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zumar Sampil. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Rodolfo Prats took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Cristobal Verges to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Grao AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
