Larpe Diaz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lanjaron.C.F. booed when Benablón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Saavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madaleno Esteban hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Adriano Martínez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Cordero Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Verges in the 29th minute of play forced Lanjaron.C.F.'s goalkeeper Kemen Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kemen Aguilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caton Cabezas's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Lanjaron.C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balesio Sevilla to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Benablón FC's Manuel Verges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kemen Aguilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kemen Aguilar came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Benablón FC's Manuel Verges. But to his dismay, Manuel Verges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caton Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Lanjaron.C.F. defense, Caton Cabezas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kemen Aguilar. The Lanjaron.C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kemen Aguilar should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Manuel Mora made the kick off in the second half. Lanjaron.C.F.'s Kemen Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Verges in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes in the game, Caton Cabezas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kemen Aguilar having to interfere. Caton Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemen Aguilar having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Caton Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benablón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caton Cabezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Verges in the 69th minute of play forced Lanjaron.C.F.'s goalkeeper Kemen Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kemen Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Verges, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Manuel Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Benablón FC's Manuel Verges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kemen Aguilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caton Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kemen Aguilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benablón FC's Cordero Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mora in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Manuel Verges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benablón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Verges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kemen Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benablón FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
