In the 3rd minute, Quique Novo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aristides Palanques. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 6thth minute of the game Pericles Gabas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bentolea's Aristides Palanques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Bentolea's goalkeeper Aristides Palanques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quique Novo. When Atlético Monzón's Felipo Tarin in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bentolea's goalie prevented a goal. Quique Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Monzón's Jorge Balcells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Camaño in the 17th minute of play. Alvaro Camaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Atlético Monzón's Victor Torres got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes, Bentolea's Sinforiano Negro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Balcells came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bentolea reached it. Indalecio Moya kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bentolea's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Balcells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Camaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jorge Balcells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Dean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aristides Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quique Novo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Camaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Palanques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quique Novo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Fiz Rallo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Palanques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Atlético Monzón's Jorge Balcells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cutberto Astudillo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Felipo Tarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bentolea's Aristides Palanques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Bentolea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chayo Font to maneuver through the defense. Fiz Rallo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 78 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aristides Palanques right hand side. In the 81st minute Quique Novo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Dean kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Alcalde during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Atlético Monzón a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fiz Rallo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bentolea's Aristides Palanques. 2-1. Cutberto Astudillo's late challenge caught a Atlético Monzón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cutberto Astudillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Cutberto Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipo Tarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aristides Palanques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Monzón's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
