After 15th play minutes Beti Urruti shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Catalin Ardeleanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Arturo Olmedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcadio Blazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Glasglow Rangers's Arturo Olmedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Glasglow Rangers from getting a goal against them. Arturo Olmedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peio Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Beti Urruti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Peio Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimp Złocieniec's supporters rose to their feet, but Peio Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Olmedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Beti Urruti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beti Urruti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Catalin Ardeleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimp Złocieniec's Peio Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peio Moreno to make the kick off. Glasglow Rangers's Arturo Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcadio Blazquez in the 51st minute of play. Alcadio Blazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arturo Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Olmedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcadio Blazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to Glasglow Rangers getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Casildo Ruiz hit a great ball. If Alcadio Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alcadio Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Olmedo having to interfere. Landolfo Cartagena had several of the Olimp Złocieniec's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Catalin Ardeleanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. The long shot by Pepe Rallo in the 95th minute really tested Catalin Ardeleanu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Although Olimp Złocieniec had been in control for most of the match, Glasglow Rangers still came away with the win.
