In the 5th minute, Jose-Luis Tobias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Acedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Solano in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Pradocabalos's Ubarna Hidalgo got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Pradocabalos's goalkeeper Omar Acedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose-Luis Tobias. Jose-Luis Tobias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Omar Acedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Luis Tobias in the 30th minute of play forced Pradocabalos's goalkeeper Omar Acedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pradocabalos's Omar Acedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Luis Tobias in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Jose-Luis Tobias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Acedo. The goal made the score 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Jose-Luis Tobias made the kick off in the second half. Juan-Francisco Caminero made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ubarna Hidalgo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jose-Luis Tobias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Acedo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Pradocabalos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brenes the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Ubarna Hidalgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Acedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose-Luis Tobias went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Omar Acedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose-Luis Tobias's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Brenes's Silverio Solano got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Acedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Luis Tobias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jose-Luis Tobias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubarna Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madeo Viejo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Madeo Viejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Jose-Luis Tobias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brenes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose-Luis Tobias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Acedo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brenes's Domenico Marcilla. But to his dismay, Domenico Marcilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brenes had played much better football throughout.
