Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fran Verdu got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the game, Nicodemo Mezquita landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 5 minutes, Osvaldo Jauregui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nuevo Santuario and the Cartellà players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herodes De Pedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanot Morales in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Hanot Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartellà fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute, Nuevo Santuario's Chayo Palomar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Quilino Astudillo. Quilino Astudillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Chayo Palomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Quilino Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanot Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Carballeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chayo Palomar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Quilino Astudillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Carballeira in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chayo Palomar made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hanot Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartellà fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 59 minutes into the match, Nuevo Santuario's Chayo Palomar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quilino Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gaudencio Carballeira came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Nuevo Santuario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Carballeira couldn't finish the play. If Gaudencio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chayo Palomar in the 64th minute of play forced Cartellà's goalkeeper Quilino Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hanot Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Alfaro's late challenge caught a Nuevo Santuario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Cartellà:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nuevo Santuario:s goal. 85 minutes into the match, Chayo Palomar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quilino Astudillo. Cartellà's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chayo Palomar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gaudencio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nuevo Santuario's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Carballeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quilino Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanot Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fran Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nuevo Santuario fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cartellà had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
