Queguas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabri Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. UD Tomelloso were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Queguas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beila Feliu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Beila Feliu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lobo Ponte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Efren Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patxi Cazorla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, UD Tomelloso's goalkeeper Efren Calatayud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabri Morales. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Tomelloso's goalkeeper Efren Calatayud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efren Calatayud was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Leon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 31st match minute, UD Tomelloso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leal Pujol to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabri Morales got free with Efren Calatayud in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Queguas's Gabri Morales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efren Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Lucas Leon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Leon was the one to do the kick off.
