Isidro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to La Llacuna CD getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Xanti Quesada hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Xanti Quesada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Llacuna CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xanti Quesada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Can Rull AFC's Albano Cayuela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Barrios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Venceslás Muelas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Barrios was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Tiago Velasco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Can Rull AFC's Milton Rallo didn't even have to move. The supporters of Can Rull AFC booed when La Llacuna CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Tobias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Albano Cayuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Barrios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Medardo Cano came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Can Rull AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Medardo Cano couldn't finish the play. La Llacuna CD's Rafa Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Can Rull AFC's Milton Rallo got control of the ball when Rafa Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Albano Cayuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Toledo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Isidro Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Barrios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Llacuna CD's goalkeeper Yuri Barrios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Can Rull AFC defense, Iraitz Abrego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milton Rallo. The Can Rull AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milton Rallo should have stopped the shot. Albano Cayuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Barrios having to interfere. Yuri Barrios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Cayuela in the 72nd minute. When Angel Leal fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Can Rull AFC's protests and gave Angel Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Angel Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Can Rull AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medardo Cano to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Tiago Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Milton Rallo skillfully saved the ball. Isidro Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Yuri Barrios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isidro Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Llacuna CD's zone, Albano Cayuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Barrios came out of the goal and Albano Cayuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Can Rull AFC booed when La Llacuna CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xanti Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, La Llacuna CD's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Toledo came free, but Yuri Barrios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Cayuela got free with Yuri Barrios in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Cayuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Barrios having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Llacuna CD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Can Rull AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
