Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amancio Sobrado got the match started through his kick off. Gergori Pascua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gabino Cuevas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Melillenses's Filomeno Barro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabino Cuevas. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. A collision led to Ezcay FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Boniel Carmona hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Amancio Sobrado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aniol Cardeñosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Melillenses's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Sobrado came free, but Aniol Cardeñosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Sobrado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Esteban charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Esteban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jokin Baeza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aniol Cardeñosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Pais went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Filomeno Barro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Gabino Cuevas made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Yader Calatayud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melillenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ezcay FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Melillenses's Yader Calatayud got a free kick in the 37th minute. Chepe Gomar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 39 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 42 minutes into the match, Melillenses's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Pais came free, but Aniol Cardeñosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Pais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Altzibar Font fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melillenses's protests and gave Altzibar Font a yellow card for diving instead. If Claudio Pais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Filomeno Barro made the kick off in the second half. The corner led Melillenses's Guido Esteban to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabino Cuevas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ezcay FC! The referee gave Melillenses a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guido Esteban, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ezcay FC's Gabino Cuevas. 2-1. After some careless play in the Melillenses defense, Claudio Pais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aniol Cardeñosa. The Melillenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aniol Cardeñosa should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ezcay FC's zone, Gergori Pascua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabino Cuevas came out of the goal and Gergori Pascua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boniel Carmona hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Melillenses's Gergori Pascua in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ezcay FC's goalie prevented a goal. Altzibar Font hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Claudio Pais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aniol Cardeñosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Pais in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Claudio Pais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ezcay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Pais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aniol Cardeñosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezcay FC's Claudio Pais got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Sobrado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aniol Cardeñosa having to make a save. After 88 minutes, Chepe Gomar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ezcay FC and the Melillenses players grew even worse after the yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, Boniel Carmona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ezcay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melillenses the free kick. In the 90th minute, Boniel Carmona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gergori Pascua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabino Cuevas having to make a save. When Boniel Carmona was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Boniel Carmona kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ezcay FC's Amancio Sobrado got a free kick in the 98th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ezcay FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
