Leo Cartagena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Leo Cartagena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 于平政, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 于平政 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gérard Garino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when 于平政 sped through Portela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Cartagena. When GRANHATEAM's 于平政 in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portela's goalie prevented a goal. A wasted opportunity for GRANHATEAM. Gérard Garino might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Cartagena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gérard Garino ran back to his position shaking his head. Gérard Garino came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Cartagena could save by the left post. Gérard Garino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Leo Cartagena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leo Cartagena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 于平政 in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ponciano Hevia made a kick off. Nils Meinl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emeterio Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 于平政 in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Cartagena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, 于平政 put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leo Cartagena. The audience was convinced that Gérard Garino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Cartagena was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 于平政 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 于平政 couldn't finish the play. 于平政 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Cartagena having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emeterio Ortiz during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gérard Garino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leo Cartagena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 于平政 scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Cartagena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gérard Garino in the 87th minute of play forced Portela's goalkeeper Leo Cartagena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, 于平政 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Portela's Leo Cartagena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于平政 in the 97th minute of play.
