In the 7thth minute of the game Arbidel Moya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Fontao's Justo Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Anxel Ecija ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Cabrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gabino Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabino Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Fontao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After having played for 29 minutes, Gamus Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Fontao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gamus Naranjo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Marquez in the 32nd minute of play forced Rabago AD's goalkeeper Juvenal Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Cortes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Justo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anxel Ecija in the 40th minute of the match. Dani Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dani Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Juvenal Acha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dani Marquez was the one to do the kick off. Rabago AD's Natanael Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Fontao's Mariano Aznar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gamus Naranjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Acha having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Xalo Yeste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anxel Ecija in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anxel Ecija in the 64th minute of play. Elivareo Lillo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The long shot by Kevin Cuervas in the 75th minute really tested Justo Cabrera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Justo Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anxel Ecija in the 76th minute of play. Real Fontao's Justo Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anxel Ecija in the 77th minute of play. Gamus Naranjo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Juvenal Acha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Fontao. Elivareo Lillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Acha. Rabago AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dani Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Acha having to interfere. The Real Fontao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rabago AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Rabago AD.
