Galo Ladra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anxel Ecija in the 7th minute of play. Toño Quintanilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Juvenal Acha made a huge save. Orlan Solera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Barcelona's zone, Jonas Marcilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galo Ladra came out of the goal and Jonas Marcilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Athletic Barcelona's Toño Quintanilla got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toño Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Juvenal Acha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabago AD's Juvenal Acha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlan Solera in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Athletic Barcelona's Orlan Solera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Acha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Rabago AD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arbidel Moya hit a great ball. The long shot by Cordareo Arenas in the 30th minute really tested Juvenal Acha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Natanael Garrido hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Galo Ladra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anxel Ecija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Galo Ladra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Marcilla in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galo Ladra saved Athletic Barcelona from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlan Solera made a kick off. Galo Ladra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anxel Ecija showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play. Juvenal Acha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlan Solera in the 57th minute of the match. Rabago AD's Jonas Marcilla got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guido Cortes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rabago AD's protests and gave Guido Cortes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rabago AD getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Guido Cortes hit a great ball. 67 minutes in the game, Anxel Ecija fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Galo Ladra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Athletic Barcelona's Imanol Babia got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jonas Marcilla in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Galo Ladra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Orlan Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arbidel Moya's late challenge caught a Athletic Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arbidel Moya helped the player get up and apologised. Arbidel Moya hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Athletic Barcelona's Cordareo Arenas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Orlan Solera charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlan Solera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Rabago AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Anxel Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Athletic Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Anxel Ecija came free, but Galo Ladra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imanol Babia hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Jonas Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galo Ladra having to interfere. The Rabago AD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Athletic Barcelona from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
