Saverio Aguilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valery Sánchez having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Penalito's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Armada came free, but Valery Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porto Colom SD's Argider Valdivia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Porto Colom SD from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Manu Armada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valery Sánchez was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Cloyo Huerta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Edgard Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argider Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Argider Valdivia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Saverio Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argider Valdivia having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saverio Aguilo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Maldonado in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Argider Valdivia saved Porto Colom SD from getting behind. Rodolfo Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 65 minutes of play, Porto Colom SD's Manu Armada made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valery Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute of the match, Saverio Aguilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valery Sánchez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herauso Costa's late challenge caught a Porto Colom SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herauso Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, one of Penalito:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Penalito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Aguilo in the 82nd minute of play forced Penalito's goalkeeper Valery Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Rodolfo Maldonado made a precise shot to the right of Argider Valdivia. Porto Colom SD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Saverio Aguilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valery Sánchez having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Penalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berbiz Puig to maneuver through the defense. The Porto Colom SD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porto Colom SD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
