Urtsin Castan might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebio Sánchez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtsin Castan ran back to his position shaking his head. Pascal Nunez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Cortegada SD's Urtsin Castan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Sánchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Urtsin Castan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Sánchez having to make a save. Lisandro Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Sánchez having to make a save. Urtsin Castan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eusebio Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pedredo AD's Eusebio Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Leal in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Urtsin Castan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lisandro Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Sheridan Bayes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortegada SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sheridan Bayes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eusebio Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sheridan Bayes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Urtsin Castan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urtsin Castan struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eusebio Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortegada SD. If Lisandro Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Castan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eusebio Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Urtsin Castan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Sánchez. Pedredo AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtsin Castan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelio Buenafuente in the 87th minute of play forced Cortegada SD's goalkeeper Peru Andres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedredo AD's Eusebio Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheridan Bayes in the 90th minute of play. Lisandro Leal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 91st playminute. When the final whistle sounded Cortegada SD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pedredo AD.
