After 3 minutes of play, Torija's Anatolio Valverde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peru Andres was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lisandro Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernando Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Torija's Anatolio Valverde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peru Andres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Joaquin Sabina charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Sabina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peru Andres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pitin Saavedra went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Urtsin Castan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anatolio Valverde hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Anatolio Valverde charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anatolio Valverde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Torija getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anatolio Valverde hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Cortegada SD got a freekick which was hit by Iyan Encina. Peru Andres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincente Verdaguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Anatolio Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Torija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Verdaguer to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Vincente Verdaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peru Andres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cortegada SD's Lisandro Leal got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Torija's Ferran Jaraba got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Urtsin Castan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hitzeder Taules tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torija's Hitzeder Taules played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheridan Bayes in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urtsin Castan to make the kick off. Torija's Hitzeder Taules played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheridan Bayes in the 61st minute of play. Urtsin Castan scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hitzeder Taules, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sheridan Bayes in the 67th minute of play forced Torija's goalkeeper Hitzeder Taules to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Sheridan Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitzeder Taules saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Torija getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pitin Saavedra hit a great ball. Pitin Saavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cortegada SD's Iyan Encina got a free kick in the 81st minute. Pitin Saavedra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peru Andres. Cortegada SD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Torija's Vincente Verdaguer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Peru Andres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincente Verdaguer in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Urtsin Castan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortegada SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtsin Castan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urtsin Castan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hitzeder Taules tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatolio Valverde got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Torija getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Anatolio Valverde hit a great ball. Chants of Torija echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cortegada SD had held the ball for most of the match.
