The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Elian Merino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napoleón Carballeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Currito Menendez struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Garin Vadillos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodellar CD. Elian Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elian Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleón Carballeira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elian Merino in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleón Carballeira saved Rodellar CD from getting behind. Pelayo Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Napoleón Carballeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garaona Solo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Rodellar CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garaona Solo to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Guimera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elisardo Ponte to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rodellar CD's Nel Santander got a free kick in the 37th minute. Pelayo Aguilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bastian Toxeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Napoleón Carballeira. Rodellar CD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelayo Aguilar to make the kick off. If Dimas Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Currito Menendez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Elian Merinos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Napoleón Carballeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Guimera's Pelayo Aguilar in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodellar CD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 98th minute, Bartolo Valdés reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Napoleón Carballeira. The goal made the score 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Guimera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rodellar CD.
