After having played for 8 minutes, Amancio Torrente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcobendas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Torrente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chepe Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nisio Aranzubia, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Eufrasio Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, one of Alcobendas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Tortosa FC. Calvino Segura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chepe Roig. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eufrasio Verges in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chepe Roig saved Alcobendas FC from getting behind. Gonzalo Mayol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Peru Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peru Espinosa having to interfere. The supporters of Tortosa FC booed when Alcobendas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Román Fuente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nisio Aranzubia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tortosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nisio Aranzubia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chepe Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chepe Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nisio Aranzubia in the 53rd minute of play. Antxoka Pareja's late challenge caught a Tortosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antxoka Pareja helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Alcobendas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antxoka Pareja to maneuver through the defense. Tortosa FC's Nisio Aranzubia managed to work through Alcobendas FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nisio Aranzubia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Nisio Aranzubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute.
