Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eulate AFC's Amador Carballido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Almarín Abasalo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Buendia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almarín Abasalo couldn't finish the play. Joey Blanco succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Eulate AFC's goalkeeper Froilan Vila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joey Blanco. If Joey Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Joey Blanco rounded Eulate AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Eulate AFC's Froilan Vila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Eulate AFC from getting a goal against them. Froilan Vila made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Almarín Abasalo sent off a good shot on target. Buendia FC's Joey Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joey Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Froilan Vila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bermudo Rossello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Carballido in the 34th minute of the match. Froilan Vila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Merino's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Amador Carballido took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bermudo Rossello. Bermudo Rossello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joey Blanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Almarín Abasalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gorka Huarte fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buendia FC's protests and gave Gorka Huarte a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sinforiano Jubera during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joey Blanco struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Froilan Vila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buendia FC. In the 73rd minute Buendia FC were awarded a corner. Dalmai Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Blanco in the 76th minute of play forced Eulate AFC's goalkeeper Froilan Vila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eulate AFC's zone, Almarín Abasalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Vila came out of the goal and Almarín Abasalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Vila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Buendia FC's Pitin Medina got a free kick in the 98th minute. Oliviero Mondejar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buendia FC fully deserved thier win.
