Sant Daniel's Alarico Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sant Daniel from getting a goal against them. Moncho Duran hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Fiz Roca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Casilla De Faginado's Zabulón Gonzalez got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Chap Casas made the kick off in the second half. Sant Daniel's Alarico Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Crespo in the 52nd minute of play. Chap Casas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alarico Cruz having to interfere. Alarico Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaume De Pedro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Jaraba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play.
