Justo Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odon Batuecas in the 12th minute. Claris Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claris Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Claris Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odon Batuecas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Vera having to interfere. Cutberto Quevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odon Batuecas in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Justo Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Etxatxu Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Efraín Rapado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cutberto Quevedo in the 38th minute of the match. Justo Vera was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Cutberto Quevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cutberto Quevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cutberto Quevedo in the 45th minute of play forced La Cierva's goalkeeper Justo Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efraín Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emesto Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cutberto Quevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Gonzalvez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efraín Rapado. Binueste SD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Efraín Rapado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxatxu Pena in the 58th minute of the match. Emesto Fuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Efraín Rapado made a huge save. If Joan Idiaquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etxatxu Pena might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efraín Rapado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Etxatxu Pena ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of La Cierva booed when Binueste SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castel Rapado didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Cierva's Baltasar Gonzalvez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Efraín Rapado but with some difficulty. Justo Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odon Batuecas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efraín Rapado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazaro Vera in the 71st minute of play. After 71 played minutes Binueste SD got a freekick which was hit by Fiz Sacristán. Efraín Rapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etxatxu Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Cierva getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lazaro Vera hit a great ball. Justo Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Uria, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Peru Rivera hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, La Cierva's goal looked a bit too open when Odon Batuecas came free, but Justo Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
