Roberto Alcaraz charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Alcaraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arenales Del Sol booed when Pozuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliu Losantos in the 19th minute of play forced Arenales Del Sol's goalkeeper Xuan Herrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederick Correa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pirro Salazar made a huge save. Adalberto Benítez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frederick Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adalberto Benítez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Arenales Del Sol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Benítez couldn't finish the play. If Adalberto Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalberto Benítez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pirro Salazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Adalberto Benítez made the kick off in the second half. Frederick Correa took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pirro Salazar. Pirro Salazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 61 played minutes Arenales Del Sol got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Zubizarreta. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iván Morientes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Pozuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Iván Morientes. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelo FC's zone, Adalberto Benítez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pirro Salazar came out of the goal and Adalberto Benítez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Adalberto Benítez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pirro Salazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Adalberto Benítez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pozuelo FC's Pirro Salazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Regis Cao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Llinares kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Regis Cao in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xuan Herrero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adalberto Benítez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arenales Del Sol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pozuelo FC for a fine match.
