Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anchel Valverde got the match started through his kick off. Ebardo Comas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Roger Baños sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Novo skillfully saved the ball. If Roberto Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cortes AFC's zone, Anchel Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gai Obis came out of the goal and Anchel Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Roberto Navas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellver De Cerdanya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Navas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roberto Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gai Obis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anchel Valverde in the 16th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Ebardo Comas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bellver De Cerdanya and the Cortes AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Bellver De Cerdanya got a freekick which was hit by Ebardo Comas. A collision led to Cortes AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Roger Baños hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Roberto Navas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ebardo Comas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfino Turrilla was the one to do the kick off. Gai Obis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Navas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, one of Bellver De Cerdanya:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Michel Novo, was totally fooled by Cortes AFC's Roger Baños, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ebardo Comas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Cortes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Barros Cerreri. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ponc Cuadrado during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Bellver De Cerdanya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponc Cuadrado to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Agamenón Benito managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 72nd minute of the game, Cortes AFC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. If Teobaldo Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Balboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Michel Novo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Cortes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Baños. Anchel Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gai Obis having to interfere. Teobaldo Balboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Michel Novo made a huge save. Cortes AFC's Gai Obis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anchel Valverde in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cortes AFC's zone, Anchel Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gai Obis came out of the goal and Anchel Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cortes AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
