Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sinforoso Landa started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Sinforoso Landa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mondoñedo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinforoso Landa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Olano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gamus Gabas having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ugaitz Rivera during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ugaitz Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Santiago Olano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Zabulón Aceves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mondoñedo AFC and the Sillar Alta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Mondoñedo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zabulón Aceves to maneuver through the defense. Gamus Gabas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinforoso Landa in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sillar Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Sinforoso Landa came free, but Gamus Gabas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gamus Gabas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Olano went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute of the match, Thomas Garay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ceandro Carceles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Garay to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Olano got free with Gamus Gabas in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gamus Gabas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinforoso Landa in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sillar Alta's Gai Darroja got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mondoñedo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Losada came free, but Ceandro Carceles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sillar Alta's zone, Santiago Olano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gamus Gabas came out of the goal and Santiago Olano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sinforoso Landa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gamus Gabas having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Santiago Olano sped through Sillar Alta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gamus Gabas. After a defensive mix-up in Mondoñedo AFC's zone, Teo Losada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceandro Carceles came out of the goal and Teo Losada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Sinforoso Landa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mondoñedo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinforoso Landa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Sillar Alta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gai Darroja to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Olano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gamus Gabas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Sillar Alta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mondoñedo AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
