Xamin Labarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Sanz in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Sanz in the 17th minute of play forced Erjos SD's goalkeeper Xamin Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xamin Labarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Ferrer in the 23rd minute. If Prudencio Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Tipi Vicente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erjos SD and the Guadalajara AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Tipi Vicente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Erjos SD's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Sanz came free, but Xamin Labarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Erjos SD's Sofronio Ruiz threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beturian Maroto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, Arnaldo Campomanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beturian Maroto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Xamin Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Prudencio Sanz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadalajara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Sanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beturian Maroto in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofronio Ruiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Sanz in the 85th minute of play forced Erjos SD's goalkeeper Xamin Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beturian Maroto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofronio Ruiz having to interfere.
