The Sporting de Veles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Txema Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Airas Campomanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Machado Orozco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ovidio Caminero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Lara having to make a save. Airas Campomanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baleren Reyes in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Sporting de Veles's Ovidio Caminero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Pintueles AD's zone, Tello Lagunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Lara came out of the goal and Tello Lagunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Zubizarreta charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Zubizarreta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Sporting de Veles got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Zubizarreta. Airas Campomanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baleren Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Dorio Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Ovidio Caminero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Veles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Caminero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tello Lagunas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Pepe Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting de Veles. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting de Veles's Ovidio Caminero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pepe Lara. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. Gualterio Zubizarreta was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Llorente made a kick off. Pepe Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Llorente in the 55th minute of the match. Pintueles AD's Pepe Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Rico in the 56th minute of play. Ovidio Caminero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ovidio Caminero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a long run with the ball, Bruno Rico did a trick in the 61st minute in front of Pintueles AD's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-0. An impressive performance by Sporting de Veles's Bruno Rico! Tello Lagunas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Lara having to interfere. Peio Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mustafá Pabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Tello Lagunas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Veles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tello Lagunas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pintueles AD's goalkeeper Pepe Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
