Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Venceslao Urruti made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Roberto Llorente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Airas Campomanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Buenafuente in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Sporting de Veles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Zubizarreta to maneuver through the defense. Polop FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Llorente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 28 minutes of play, Polop FC's Teodosio Viqueira made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Airas Campomanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sporting de Veles's Airas Campomanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Buenafuente in the 33rd minute of play. Aznaro Calvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tello Lagunas in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Roberto Llorente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting de Veles's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Llorente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aznaro Calvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Ovidio Caminero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting de Veles's Roberto Llorente got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ovidio Caminero made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ovidio Caminero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aznaro Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonides Buenafuente fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polop FC's protests and gave Leonides Buenafuente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Leonides Buenafuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ovidio Caminero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Llorente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Caminero in the 60th minute of play forced Polop FC's goalkeeper Aznaro Calvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Polop FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Llorente came free, but Aznaro Calvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ireno Aranzubia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Llorente in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aznaro Calvo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sporting de Veles's Ovidio Caminero got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Llorente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Roberto Llorente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polop FC's Aznaro Calvo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Caminero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ovidio Caminero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aznaro Calvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tello Lagunas in the 88th minute of the match. Gualterio Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aznaro Calvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tello Lagunas, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
