Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Margarita FC's Manel Pena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xepe Incera charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xepe Incera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Margarita FC! After some careless play in the Garrigoles defense, Manel Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xoan Harroyo. The Garrigoles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xoan Harroyo should have stopped the shot. Margarita FC's Dolfos Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asensio Rodriguez in the 20th minute of play. Cilio Dean charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cilio Dean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Margarita FC's Cilio Dean got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Garrigoles's Gorka Medina couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Margarita FC. Manel Pena struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Xoan Harroyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margarita FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asensio Rodriguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Juan-Francisco Folch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xoan Harroyo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute, Garrigoles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan-Francisco Folch fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Manel Pena came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Margarita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manel Pena couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Garrigoles getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marques Infante hit a great ball. Manel Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xoan Harroyo having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Pablo Duran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Margarita FC and the Garrigoles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Duran hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Garrigoles's Asensio Rodriguez in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute, one of Garrigoles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garrigoles. Margarita FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
