Lawrence Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corin Aputis to maneuver through the defense. FC Barcelona's Xalo Dobale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Baños in the 18th minute of play. When Giorgio Sacristán fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Els Rosildos's protests and gave Giorgio Sacristán a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Els Rosildos getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Giorgio Sacristán hit a great ball. Lawrence Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Sánchez during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Prudencio Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Barea Cifuentes came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Els Rosildos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barea Cifuentes couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lawrence Murcia made a kick off. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Els Rosildos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alatz Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, FC Barcelona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Barea Cifuentes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Els Rosildos's goalkeeper Xepe Idiaquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
