If Otero Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrence Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Sánchez. A hard shot 22 in the game by Otero Saura from a close distance when the talented Xoan Harroyo managed to make a qualified save. Garrigoles's players were relieved. Xoan Harroyo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Otero Saura sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asensio Rodriguez to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Garrigoles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Pepillo Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garrigoles the free kick. Pepillo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Prudencio Sánchez's late challenge caught a Garrigoles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Sánchez helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Anaya Bacete got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otero Saura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Gorka Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, Garrigoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anter Rico to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Lawrence Murcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otero Saura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
