Eligio Verdaguer ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Villa Sol FC's Mohamed Moya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando Prats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Zapico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Villa Sol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Maroto came free, but Dalmu Izaguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Astudillo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dalmu Izaguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlo Huarte in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mohamed Moya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play Les Cabanyes SAD's Francisco Astudillo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 71 played minutes, Villa Sol FC's Chepe Dobale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nando Prats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Sol FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Mario Maroto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmu Izaguirre was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Filomeno Zapico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nando Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Rienda didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The Villa Sol FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Sol FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
