Rubiais San Ciprian CD's Ekhi Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Doblas in the 12th minute of play. Troy Torres made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Elixio Duarte sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Orduña AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rubiais San Ciprian CD:s goal. The referee gave Rubiais San Ciprian CD a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Batista Ribeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orduña AD's Troy Torres. 1-1. Troy Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Losantos in the 19th minute of the match. Orduña AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Tristan Losantos scored to the left of an out of position Troy Torres, making the score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donzel Rey during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Rubiais San Ciprian CD got a freekick which was hit by Donzel Rey. If Tristan Losantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Pirro Munoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rubiais San Ciprian CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orduña AD the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Rubiais San Ciprian CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pirro Munoz to maneuver through the defense. Orduña AD's Timo Bouzon got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauro Rivera hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Niva Doblas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Tristan Losantos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elixio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tristan Losantos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orduña AD's Troy Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Losantos in the 53rd minute of play. If Elixio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Orduña AD defense, Tristan Losantos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Troy Torres. The Orduña AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Troy Torres should have stopped the shot. Timo Bouzon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Timo Bouzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ekhi Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elixio Duarte in the 74th minute of play forced Orduña AD's goalkeeper Troy Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekhi Ribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Bouzon in the 87th minute of play. Timo Bouzon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ekhi Ribas having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Orduña AD's zone, Elixio Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Troy Torres came out of the goal and Elixio Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ramos Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orduña AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramos Gutierrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ekhi Ribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
