Anakoz Blanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anakoz Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio De la Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Quirze Palanques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quirze Palanques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Martinet defense, Guter De Pablo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Olano. The Martinet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Olano should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Martinet players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rentería F.
