Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) los peques's Arnaitz Irureta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abelardo Sevilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Bizen Verdeja came out of the goal and Arnaitz Irureta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bizen Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaitz Irureta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joey Alarcon in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bizen Verdeja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubio Fonticoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute Arnaitz Irureta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bizen Verdeja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rubio Fonticoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, los peques's Arnaitz Irureta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bizen Verdeja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Che Jaen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rayo Cantabria's Guilabertus Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubio Fonticoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bizen Verdeja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Rayo Cantabria got a freekick which was hit by Lobo Gonzáles. In the 31st minute of the match Abelardo Sevilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bizen Verdeja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rubio Fonticoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bizen Verdeja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaitz Irureta, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arnaitz Irureta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bizen Verdeja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, los peques's Joey Alarcon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bizen Verdeja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulino Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Rubio Fonticoba made a precise shot to the right of Bizen Verdeja. Rayo Cantabria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Arnaitz Irureta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bizen Verdeja having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubio Fonticoba got free with Bizen Verdeja in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joey Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Castel Ricoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los peques's supporters crossed their fingers, but Castel Ricoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bizen Verdeja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaitz Irureta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Rayo Cantabria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quexal Montiel to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes, Melquiades España mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayo Cantabria and the los peques players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubio Fonticobas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Bizen Verdeja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnaitz Irureta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rubio Fonticoba came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the los peques fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubio Fonticoba couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rayo Cantabria getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Che Jaen hit a great ball. When Melquiades España was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After 96 played minutes Rayo Cantabria got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades España.
