Amerigo Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when William Gene sent off a good shot on target. CF Badalona's William Gene came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Amerigo Astudillo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Amerigo Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorri Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, CF Badalona's goal looked a bit too open when Jem Kisiel came free, but Sylwester Zabrzeski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Gene in the 17th minute of play forced Palau De Plegamans AFC's goalkeeper Amerigo Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palau De Plegamans AFC's Amerigo Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorri Alvarez in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Palau De Plegamans AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jerrald Rapado hit a great ball. Antonio Feria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amerigo Astudillo. Palau De Plegamans AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amerigo Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorri Alvarez in the 29th minute of the match. Sylwester Zabrzeski came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palau De Plegamans AFC's Marcelino Santander. But to his dismay, Marcelino Santander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elias Negro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Gorri Alvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amerigo Astudillo. Gorri Alvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Palau De Plegamans AFC's goal looked a bit too open when William Gene came free, but Amerigo Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Gene was the one to do the kick off. When Fortunato Pujol fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Badalona's protests and gave Fortunato Pujol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CF Badalona getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fortunato Pujol hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Palau De Plegamans AFC's Jem Kisiel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sylwester Zabrzeski. Sylwester Zabrzeski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 57 minutes into the game, Lonzo Ucero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF Badalona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palau De Plegamans AFC the free kick. Lonzo Ucero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nerio Aceves during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palau De Plegamans AFC booed when CF Badalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nerio Aceves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 60th minute, when Palau De Plegamans AFC's Desiderio Molina after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Sylwester Zabrzeski in CF Badalona's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 68 minutes into the game, Desiderio Molina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palau De Plegamans AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Badalona the free kick. CF Badalona made a substitution. Mino Clos replaced Fortunato Pujol. A collision led to Palau De Plegamans AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Desiderio Molina hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, CF Badalona's Gorri Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amerigo Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, William Gene had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amerigo Astudillo. Palau De Plegamans AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Gene was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Sylwester Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jem Kisiel in the 88th minute of play. Marcelino Santander kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Palau De Plegamans AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
