The CD Ourense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sagrario Mudarra should have stopped the shot. Sixto Baristo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sagrario Mudarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes OOPS! got a freekick which was hit by Axel Samuelsson. Sixto Baristo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sagrario Mudarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OOPS!. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cardozo in the 17th minute of play forced CD Ourense's goalkeeper Sagrario Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, OOPS!'s Sixto Baristo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Mudarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Aimar Sevilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Ourense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OOPS! the free kick. A collision led to CD Ourense getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aimar Sevilla hit a great ball. Jaime Cardozo scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sagrario Mudarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Sixto Baristo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OOPS! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, OOPS!'s Jaime Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Mudarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The supporters of CD Ourense booed when OOPS! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half OOPS! were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CD Ourense's goalkeeper Sagrario Mudarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Cardozo. CD Ourense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Sixto Baristo scored to the left of an out of position Sagrario Mudarra, making the score, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Baristo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sagrario Mudarra saved CD Ourense from getting behind. In the 59th minute of the match OOPS! got a corner. CD Ourense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Cool ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zuriko Alacuart hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Ourense's zone, Sixto Baristo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sagrario Mudarra came out of the goal and Sixto Baristo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyryl Antoszewski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Uriel Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, OOPS!'s Sixto Baristo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sagrario Mudarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Peter Adán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Ourense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Adán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sagrario Mudarra made a huge save. After a rather tough play, CD Ourense's Cyryl Antoszewski got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jaime Cardozo in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sagrario Mudarra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, OOPS!'s Axel Samuelsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
