In the 4th minute, Tomas Ahlburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Karling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Olav Funnboe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Karling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Taarup FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jon Hoegh hit a great ball. Rikki Arklint's late challenge caught a Skydebjerg AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikki Arklint helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Taarup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikki Arklint to maneuver through the defense. Roald Palsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Karling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Funnboe having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Skydebjerg AC got a freekick which was hit by Nikki Aagurd. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Skydebjerg AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Taarup FC:s goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Adolf Murning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taarup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolf Murning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Louis Vandstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olav Funnboe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roald Palsberg in the 39th minute. Folmer Preisum charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Folmer Preisum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skydebjerg AC booed when Taarup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folmer Preisum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roald Palsberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Olav Funnboe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Folmer Preisum hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Taarup FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Vandstrøm to strike the kick off in the second half. Taarup FC's Jon Hoegh got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Vandstrøm got free with Einar Vorsum in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torleif Jæhnigen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Frank Karling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Funnboe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Thomas Bjørnit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Skydebjerg AC's Frank Karling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olav Funnboe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olav Funnboe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roald Palsberg in the 85th minute of play. Louis Vandstrøm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Einar Vorsum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olav Funnboe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roald Palsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roald Palsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Funnboe having to interfere. Louis Vandstrøm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Einar Vorsum made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Taarup FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
