Berndt Arnshof kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ken Bønnelykke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Gudmund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Eskil Gudmund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Bønnelykke in the 12th minute of the match. Benny Strømgren's late challenge caught a Taarup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Strømgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Frostrup's Benny Strømgren got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Jim Vennig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskil Gudmund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Bønnelykke in the 21st minute of the match. Filip Parlø took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eskil Gudmund. Frostrup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Egon Lovelady charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Lovelady the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frostrup fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! When Taarup's Jim Vennig in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frostrup's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Vennig in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eskil Gudmund saved Frostrup from getting behind. Wladimir Tingvig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes, Taarup's Filip Parlø shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eskil Gudmund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taarup reached it. Frostrup's Eskil Gudmund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Vennig in the 44th minute of play. Kaj Tornslev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berndt Arnshof in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Vennig made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ken Bønnelykke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Ken Bønnelykke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Gudmund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benny Strømgren got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 60th match minute, Frostrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Strømgren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Vennig got free with Eskil Gudmund in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Holger Bøgekjær in the 67th minute really tested Eskil Gudmund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Freddi Engberg made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taarup's Paw Tillisch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Bønnelykke in the 71st minute of play forced Frostrup's goalkeeper Eskil Gudmund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taarup's Tommy Neyfred managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Georg Hamann in the 73 minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Frostrup's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Bønnelykke came free, but Eskil Gudmund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Frostrup's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Bønnelykke came free, but Eskil Gudmund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Taarup supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taarup would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
