Silas Toftbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Bringeby having to interfere. Jimi Lonning struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Piotr Bringeby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firgårde. In the 11th minute, Severin Viskær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piotr Bringeby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severin Viskær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severin Viskær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricky Lindenskjold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severin Viskær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute of the match Firgårde got a corner. Nyborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alf Flensholt ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 36 minutes of play, Firgårde's Severin Viskær made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Bringeby was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nyborg! If Severin Viskær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimi Lonning to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Firgårde's Severin Viskær made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Bringeby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aksel Kiaby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Miklos Parsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Jimi Lonning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firgårde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimi Lonning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimi Lonning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Piotr Bringeby came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimi Lonning slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. After 74 played minutes Firgårde got a freekick which was hit by Silas Toftbøl. Mauritz Frølander charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauritz Frølander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nyborg's Mauritz Frølander got a free kick in the 79th minute. Nyborg's Piotr Bringeby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimi Lonning in the 87th minute of play. Piotr Bringeby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimi Lonning, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Gynther Nebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nyborg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Firgårde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
