The supporters of Nyborg booed when Yppenbjerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Flenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Svenn Hvingelby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Bringeby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Yppenbjerg's goalkeeper Eigil Dilner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aksel Kiaby. Piotr Bringeby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Fehlhaber's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Konrad Fehlhaber sped through Nyborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Piotr Bringeby. After a rather tough play, Nyborg's Mathias Anker got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Yppenbjerg's Konrad Fehlhaber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piotr Bringeby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nyborg's Gynther Nebo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eigil Dilner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Hardysø's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Mauritz Frølander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eigil Dilner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gynther Nebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Svenn Hvingelby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Konrad Fehlhaber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yppenbjerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Fehlhaber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Bringeby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Svenn Hvingelby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nyborg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yppenbjerg were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Konrad Fehlhaber made the kick off in the second half. Gynther Nebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Konrad Fehlhaber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yppenbjerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Fehlhaber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Bringeby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Nyborg getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elmar Hardysø hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Aksel Kiaby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aksel Kiaby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eigil Dilner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gynther Nebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Nyborg booed when Yppenbjerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Flenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederick Wexøe in the 64th minute of play forced Yppenbjerg's goalkeeper Eigil Dilner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Bringeby acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonathan Garrido. 72 minutes into the match, Yppenbjerg's goal looked a bit too open when Aksel Kiaby came free, but Eigil Dilner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Konrad Fehlhaber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Gynther Nebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eigil Dilner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Yppenbjerg booed when Nyborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vagner Tauling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Nyborg's Aksel Kiaby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eigil Dilner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Svenn Hvingelby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yppenbjerg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
