With a little luck, Betula BK's Sofus Rosenkvist got control of the ball when Terry Leonhaisen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 4 minutes, Niels Borstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Betula BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niels Borstrøm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Frits Gatholm fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc odgaard's protests and gave Frits Gatholm a yellow card for diving instead. Frits Gatholm kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Betula BK's Børge Kure broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofus Todsen in the 10th minute of play forced Betula BK's goalkeeper Sofus Rosenkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Terry Leonhaisen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frede Risby struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Melchior Ukleya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Betula BK. Amdi Parsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Borstrøm in the 26th minute of play forced fc odgaard's goalkeeper Melchior Ukleya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Niels Borstrøm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchior Ukleya. fc odgaard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niels Borstrøm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Sofus Todsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofus Rosenkvist was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Simon Saxenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Sofus Rosenkvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half Betula BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frede Risby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sofus Todsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, fc odgaard's Sofus Todsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofus Rosenkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Svend Hoffland fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Betula BK's protests and gave Svend Hoffland a yellow card for diving instead. Svend Hoffland kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, fc odgaard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Gatholm to maneuver through the defense. Terry Leonhaisen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sofus Rosenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofus Todsen in the 80th minute of play forced Betula BK's goalkeeper Sofus Rosenkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, fc odgaard's goal looked a bit too open when Frede Risby came free, but Melchior Ukleya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofus Rosenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofus Rosenkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofus Todsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niels Borstrøm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Melchior Ukleya made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Betula BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
