In the 17th minute, Terry Leonhaisen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thue Sirek, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st minute, Sofus Todsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchior Ukleya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Bjurner in the 38th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertrand Bjurner was the one to do the kick off. Thue Sirek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofus Todsen in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hyrup FV's Sigurd Romanowski got a free kick in the 54th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thue Sirek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sofus Todsen went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Melchior Ukleya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrand Bjurner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Hyrup FV booed when fc odgaard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits Gatholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Adring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchior Ukleya having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Bertrand Bjurner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyrup FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertrand Bjurner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind fc odgaard's goalkeeper Melchior Ukleya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in fc odgaard's zone, Bertrand Bjurner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchior Ukleya came out of the goal and Bertrand Bjurner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
