Kaare Underskov started the match with the kick off. Viggo Vibjerg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaare Underskov in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Fjelde saved Ullerup SIK from getting behind. Josef Fjelde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaare Underskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Therkel Lundtofte was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Vejen FC booed when Ullerup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Vesterkær didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Kaare Underskov made a precise shot to the right of Josef Fjelde. Ullerup SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Vejen FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valter Stuck hit a great ball. Josef Fjelde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaare Underskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gordon Skovisgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhard Kongsbak having to interfere. Vejen FC's Erhard Kongsbak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Rimstad in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Ullerup SIK booed when Vejen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Bomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Rimstad in the 41st minute of play forced Vejen FC's goalkeeper Erhard Kongsbak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaare Underskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Rimstad made a kick off. When Mauritz Reeler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. The supporters of Vejen FC booed when Ullerup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauritz Reeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Ullerup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Klemes. Josef Fjelde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Therkel Lundtofte went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The Vejen FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Vejen FC's Therkel Lundtofte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Josef Fjelde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaare Underskov in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Ullerup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Therkel Lundtofte came free, but Josef Fjelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Therkel Lundtofte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Therkel Lundtofte came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Vejen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Therkel Lundtofte couldn't finish the play. Vejen FC's Kaare Underskov got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Fjelde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Stuck in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Therkel Lundtofte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Fjelde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
