Sigvald Kessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hektor Galle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oluf Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Maade FC's Janick Caprez in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sønderborg Sweet Chickens's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 played minutes Sønderborg Sweet Chickens got a freekick which was hit by Lavritz Djernæs. Maade FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Augustinus Lundsbøl 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. If Arne Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maade FC's Janick Caprez in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sønderborg Sweet Chickens's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Edvardt Kolbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Sønderborg Sweet Chickens:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maade FC:s goal. Luis Fausbøll walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bjørn Binnerup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustinus Lundsbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Kristen Deleuran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maade FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sønderborg Sweet Chickens the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maade FC's Kristen Deleuran got a free kick in the 46th minute. Bjørn Binnerup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinus Lundsbøl in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustinus Lundsbøl to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Edvardt Kolbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvald Kessler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oluf Vale came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Maade FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oluf Vale couldn't finish the play. Hektor Galles short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Sigvald Kessler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sigvald Kessler had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Janick Caprez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Janick Caprez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hektor Galle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvald Kessler having to make a save. Hektor Galle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvald Kessler having to interfere. When Janick Caprez came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Maade FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janick Caprez couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hektor Galle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sigvald Kessler. That made the score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Janick Caprez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvald Kessler having to interfere. Gunnar Madani kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Maade FC's Bjørn Binnerup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Springer in the 94th minute of play.
