Dønnevælde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brian Wesselgreen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Stauner in the 12th minute of play. Boje Castley hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Skælskør B&I defense, Jann Ryskjær kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaspar Billehøj. The Skælskør B&I fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaspar Billehøj should have stopped the shot. When Boje Castley fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skælskør B&I's protests and gave Boje Castley a yellow card for diving instead. Boje Castley kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Moritz Lunk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kaspar Billehøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jann Ryskjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Abraham Bangsnæs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Kaspar Billehøj made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jann Ryskjær stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jari Moisen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Vagn Balsby put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Skælskør B&I:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dønnevælde:s goal. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Dønnevælde. Moritz Lunk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kaspar Billehøj. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jann Ryskjær put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kaspar Billehøj. In the 69th match minute, Dønnevælde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fillip Tangbo to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, one of Dønnevælde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dønnevælde. Jari Moisen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 80 minutes into the game, Jimmi Deike was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skælskør B&I's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dønnevælde the free kick. Jimmi Deike kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Dønnevælde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Dønnevælde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
