The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Günther Gandorf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Toke Nondal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toke Nondal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Litthau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Günther Gandorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toke Nondal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Muhammad Karppinen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toke Nondal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacob Restov made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Max Hillestoft sent off a good shot on target. Danish Gooners's Toke Nondal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Gilkær in the 20th minute of play. Toke Nondal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Gandorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With his leg Jacob Restov managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Danish Gooners's Max Hillestoft fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 39 minutes into the match, Gurreby FV's goal looked a bit too open when Nichlas Ramling came free, but Jacob Restov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Max Hillestoft took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jacob Restov to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Danish Gooners's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichlas Ramling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Restov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Restov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Lundme in the 91st minute of play. Janus Greisholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jacob Restov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
