Østtarp's Anthon Lindek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Ladving in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Eske Flyger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Østtarp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sårup SIK the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Østtarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eske Flyger to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Lindek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Ladving, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Mathias Hvidtfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sårup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Hvidtfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roar Birkevold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gotfred Mahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Gotfred Mahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sårup SIK's Kenneth Værnstrøm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bastian Ladving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Roar Birkevold elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bjarke Vindesbøl's late challenge caught a Sårup SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Anthon Lindek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
