In the 27th minute, Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s Luis Korner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 30th minute Viktor Fjeldborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Landgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Enelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Joseph Landgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Fjeldborg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Landgaard having to make a save. Joseph Landgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Fjeldborg in the 35th minute of play. Oskar Enelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joseph Landgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Enelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Landgaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Bertram Westerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Fjeldborg came free, but Joseph Landgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Landgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Enelund in the 48th minute of the match. The Quetzalcóatl F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maribo were winning 1-2.

Oskar Enelund was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 60 played minutes Quetzalcóatl F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frits Frenderup. Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s Joseph Landgaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Quetzalcóatl F.C. from getting a goal against them. Gert Hagelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Korner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Fjeldborg got free with Joseph Landgaard in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Maribo's goal looked a bit too open when Tøger Seyerdahl came free, but Gert Hagelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Maribo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vagn Ertner hit a great ball. Luis Korner struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gert Hagelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quetzalcóatl F.C.. If Oskar Enelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Korner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Hagelquist having to interfere. If Viktor Fjeldborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oskar Enelund in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Landgaard saved Quetzalcóatl F.C. from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Oskar Enelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maribo's supporters rose to their feet, but Oskar Enelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Landgaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maribo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
