Otto Lykkedegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tøger Seyerdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswald Meicker during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Borsholm got a freekick which was hit by Oswald Meicker. 35 minutes into the match, Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s goalkeeper Joseph Landgaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Løvild. Sigfred Hølmkjær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Landgaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Manfred Løvild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Sigfred Hølmkjær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfred Hølmkjær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joseph Landgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfred Hølmkjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Sigfred Hølmkjær made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s goalkeeper Joseph Landgaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Quetzalcóatl F.C. booed when Borsholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Karmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quetzalcóatl F.C.'s Luis Korner got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Korner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Borsholm got a freekick which was hit by Oswald Meicker. In the 92nd minute Manfred Løvild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Landgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Nichlas Flogard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Landgaard skillfully saved the ball.
